Every spring, around April 15th to May 1st, I plant my outside flowers. Here''s my inventory:
- 1 - large (about 60 ft wide) front flower bed and one smaller, about 10ft wide. In these, I plant red, white, purple, and pink Vinca''s because the Rabbits leave them alone.
- 2 - 4 ft tall black porcelain pots in which I plant orange Hibiscus.
- 2 - short white planters by the front door, where I plant Lantana or something else that blooms a lot.
- 4 trees in the front yard, where I plant purple hearts around the base, which is lined in stone.
Aside from the flowers, I have one side with 5 Yucca Cain plants about 4 ft tall, and the other side with 5 Yucca aloifolia.
Then, along the driveway, I have 5 Boxwoods in white planters.
The Hibiscus and Vinca plants are annuals that need to be replanted each year.
That''s my spring ritual, and I love doing it each year.
